WHAT IS IT
MINDFULNESS PRACTISE
…teaches how to be in the present moment with your thoughts, feelings, emotions, sensations and everything around you, using simple tools and practices. Mindfulness helps us put some space between ourselves and our reactions, allowing for calm responses and better decisions.
Little Crystal Minds provides a relaxed, compassionate, non-judgemental, supportive service. You will learn that there is a connection between your breathing and your mental state and how you breathe affects how you feel. Also, I’ll show you how to focus your attention and turn down the noise in your head. Learning to quieten your mind is the most liberating thing you can do. Mindfulness tools can be learned at any age and can make a vast improvement to your overall well-being.
At Little Crystal Minds, along with the basics, our approach is holistic combining modern mindfulness techniques which works for busy people with little time. For the younger ones we include creative children’s yoga and story massage to make their experiences fun and engaging.

ONE 2 ONE
These sessions are for any individual (adult and child) who is anxious, always worried, stressed, easily frustrated, have low self esteem, struggling to sleep or unable to control their emotional impulses. In person or via Skype.

PRESCHOOL
Bringing mindfulness to preschool and nursery children can help develop their social-emotional development. The approach in schools is a holistic one, combining mindfulness, meditation, ‘story massage’ and children’s yoga.

These sessions are for any individual (adult or child) who is anxious, always worried, constantly stressed, easily frustrated, have low self esteem, struggling to sleep or unable to control their emotional impulses. One 2 One sessions can be held via Skype* or Hangout (*adults only).

In this distracting, chaotic and ever busy world it can be difficult to find time to really connect with the ones we love. Do you find your family is disconnected, everyone is distracted and agitated? Or a family member that is easily irritated, highly emotional, sensitive, has low energy or even too energetic, or maybe has low self-esteem. You want to see how as a family you can help and work together. Then these sessions will work with everyone in the family to identify patterns, habits that can be amended to bring a closer bond with compassion and kindness to the family unit and you enjoy family life together.

Being a new mum can be most magical, joyful and rewarding experience you will ever have. But, it can also be scary, tiring and just really hard. Your life is different over night and you are learning how to adapt and figure it all out. Emotions, thoughts and feelings seem like they take over. It doesn’t have to be that way.
Mindfulness reduces the amount of time you are on autopilot and be fully present, completely engaged in the moment.
GROUP SESSIONS:
For Pre-Schools and Nurseries

Bringing mindfulness to pre-school and nursery children can help develop their social-emotional development. Children especially are often overwhelmed by big emotions they do not understand and can result in a behaviour that is considered difficult or challenging. Mindfulness techniques, meditation and early yoga practice can help each child to find ways to understand themselves and respond in a calmer, healthier way.

Schools are under enormous pressure to ensure academic success, which can often put pressure on our children and make them feel stressed, very anxious and frustrated. Children of all ages are unable to perform and learn whilst feeling this way. When negative emotions, feelings and thoughts take them over, it results in a panic-like state, bringing down their confidence, self-esteem and ability to learn or remember what they already know which then can cause anxiety. We want the best for our children academically but also emotionally and mentally. Our sessions and workshops provide children with tools and techniques that can help and support children with stress management, emotional resilience and self-belief. I have been able to learn about the full version of who I am and not just the good qualities but how to deal with the difficult emotions and work with them rather than hide or disguise them. Since finding ME again, I am more compassionate and kinder to myself and those around me. This helped me find my passion, the things that move me, areas I want to make a difference in. Teaching mindfulness and help change the emotional and mental mindset for the next generation, starting with families and our children right here right now is my passion.

I understand only too well how hectic life gets and finding even 10 minutes in our day can be a task in itself. Being a mum, a wife, a daughter, a sister, a friend and a business woman, I have realised over the years that no one size fits all and my approach to teaching mindfulness is tailored to my client’s needs and goals. My main aim of any session is to be supportive of you as an individual while in life you invest energy and support for others.
Mindfulness exercises are ways of paying attention to the present moment, exploring our thoughts, feeling and behaviour, meditation quiets your mind, reduces stress and brings you clarity and a positive mindset. For children we also bring in fun, creative elements with yoga to increase body awareness, confidence and concentration. Story massage is a relaxing way to connect, using songs and stories. Which each session will increase your overall well being where you start to pause, breath, connect and feel calm.

I am so happy to have attended the Mindfulness for Mothers course last month, it has completely changed my view on parenting, how I relate to my children and deal with typical daily stress from being a mother. The course is very well organised and presented, and Priya provides with many resources and tools. Priya is very approachable, thoughtful and caring and checks up on you throughout the course, even in between sessions. I missed one of the sessions but she invited me to come earlier on the next one so she could give me an overview on the session I missed. I couldn’t recommend this more. If you want to understand your child better and learn how to handle emotions in the family, this is the course for you!

These are beautiful cards. Good quality paper and print and designed to get communications flowing. We pick one randomly every morning and spend the day living the affirmation and fulfill the suggested task. Over dinner we speak about how we got on, how it made us feel. The whole concept is amazingly simple but has a profound effect on us as individuals as well as a family unit. We are becoming more self-aware without realising, more aware of our surroundings and the feelings of others. These cards should be in every educational setting and home. Even leaving them randomly on the underground will change someones life. Oh, and the added activity of colouring in on the back adds more value to this product. Love love love them.
